Mike Parks has served as Associate Pastor for Worship Ministries at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas since 1991. His ministry, through music, includes over 1,800 people—Children through Senior Adults, both choral and instrumental. He is involved in leading worship for Revivals, Conferences, Conventions, and many functions throughout the Southern Baptist Convention. In 2004, CCA in Nashville named the GABC Worship Ministry one of the Top Ten Most Successful Worship Ministries in America.

Mike also serves as host for Discover Life television ministries, a local, regional and national broadcast reaching millions of homes each week. He holds a Master of Church Music Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mike and his wife Jo, have two children and two grandchildren.
